Twenty-something Joe is the care-giver to his wheel-chair-bound, health challenged, 16-year-old brother Robert. While temping at a bank, Joe is also a self-taught artist assembling boxes of magical worlds for which Robert creates enchanting stories. When Marianne, a young, energetic therapist comes in, the brothers' carefully balanced world is drastically altered and all three discover a sometimes comic and uncertain new world.
